The Finance Department is committed to ensuring that quality financial services and information are provided to management, Departments and related development partners for the benefit of the residents of Kisoro District.
To provide central payment services to clients , operate the District’s collections and deposit
systems, provide District-wide accounting and reporting services, and manage the
collections of all debts owed to the District.
To provide general accounting, cash forecasting , fixed asset
control and budgetary control to a satisfactory level.

Coordination of the preparation of council’s budgets.

Receipting Revenues and Making payments under IFMS
Cash flow management
Budget implementation and control
Book-keeping monitoring and supervision at s/c level
Monthly Income and Expenditure reporting
Advising council on financial matters
Managing the District Assets
Procurement, acquisition and safe keeping of financial documents, stationery and accounting records Production of financial statements
Facilitating Internal and statutory external audit
